Why Postural Assessment & Functional Movement Skills?
Poor posture and dysfunctional movement patterns are among the most common contributors to musculoskeletal discomfort, chronic pain, fatigue, and reduced performance. Understanding how the body aligns and moves allows practitioners to better support clients within a wellness-based, non-diagnostic scope of practice.
This one-day professional workshop equips participants with foundational skills to observe posture, assess functional movement, and identify common compensation patterns, enhancing the effectiveness of bodywork, massage, and wellness interventions.
This workshop is ideal for Registered Massage Therapists, bodyworkers, osteopathy aides, wellness practitioners, fitness professionals, healthcare aides, and individuals interested in movement awareness and postural education. No prior assessment experience is required.
