Program Values: Therapists need to have a sound knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology, as they will work directly with the body structures. It is also vital that they have a comprehensive knowledge of diseases and disorders of the human body so that they are aware of when and when not to treat a client and only operate within certain parameters

This fascinating course provides students with a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the body so that they have complete knowledge of the structure and functions of each area in which they are working

Skills and topics that you will learn during this course include

  • Understand the definition and orientation of anatomical terms.
  • Define the anatomical and functional structures and their correlation to the human body.
  • Acquire the knowledge of the integration, organization and control of all the human body systems.
  • Obtain the knowledge of the muscular system.
  • Obtain knowledge of connective tissues and cartilage.
  • Obtain the knowledge of the classification of joints.
  • Obtain knowledge of the anatomical planes and axis.
  • Obtain the knowledge of the 16 different muscle fibers and directions.
  • Elements of applied pathology
